Dick Martin, a fellow 323 owner in Little River SC, graciously offered to drive us on a whirlwind tour of Myrtle Beach, as well as take us to the food lion for some minor provisioning.
North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach are a lot like Ocean City MD, but on a much bigger scale. For example, every few miles, there's a miniature golf place with an over-the-top fantasy themed course.

Our first stop was the House of Blues for a brunch buffet accompanied by Gospel Music Singing.

And then of course, there was remnants of damage from hurricane Matthew. Here we see where Matthew uprooted an entire building, palm trees and all, and deposited it intact, upside down, on top of another building! ;)

And King Kong escaped to terrorize the locals.

It looks like a fun town. I see why so many people choose to vacation here.
Back at the marina, fun & games were over, and it was back to work. Dolce Vita's trusty Atomic 4 engine needed an oil change again. I've estimated I'll end up doing 12 oil changes before this trip is over.
